ProTee VX: check the mount and swing space separately
The overhead VX avoids a rear radar zone, but its installation still needs these manufacturer checks:
- Height: 275–305 cm (about 9.02–10.01 ft). Measure from the hitting surface to the ceiling, including the mat or raised flooring. A nominal 9 ft ceiling is slightly below 275 cm even before adding a mat.
- Mount position: at 275 cm height, the horizontal offset from the ceiling-mount center to the hitting-area center is 100 cm (about 3 ft 3.4 in); at 305 cm, it is 110 cm (about 3 ft 7.3 in). These are the two published mounting examples; use the current installation guidance for your height.
- Swing space: the drawing recommends 250 cm (about 8 ft 2.4 in) clear to your left, right and behind for an unobstructed swing. Plan the hitting position around that clearance and check every golfer's full swing.
