SIG10 Enclosure Dimensions and Room Requirements

The SIG10 frame is not the same as your required room dimensions. We explain the published sizes and a consequential source-table inconsistency.

SIG10 frame size versus operating space

Our source-backed SIG10 package entries record a frame measuring 10'10" W × 5' D × 8'4" H. That measurement describes the enclosure, not a finished room that guarantees safe clearance for a driver swing, a projector or a launch monitor.

Several SIG10 merchant pages publish 12' W × 12' D × 9' H as their general minimum and 15' × 15' × 10' as the recommended room. The wider recommended room offers additional practical clearance, but neither number overrides a monitor's own mounting or indoor ball-flight requirement.

A source inconsistency worth checking

In multiple product pages in our September source set, the SIG10 specification table labels its depth as five inches while its dedicated frame-dimensions text states five feet. We use the explicit frame-dimensions line and flag the conflict in affected product entries rather than silently presenting both as equivalent. Before purchasing, ask the retailer to confirm the current drawing and installation instructions for the exact enclosure revision.

Why two SIG10 packages can need different depths

Comparison assembled from the linked catalog entries and their underlying merchant sources.

Rapsodo MLM2PRO SIG10 Golf Simulator PackageBehind-the-ball portable launch monitor12' W × 14.5' D × 9' H (combined constraints)

SkyTrak ST MAX SIG10 Golf Simulator PackageSide-positioned launch monitor12' W × 12' D × 9' H

Compare the Rapsodo MLM2PRO and Garmin R10 examples. Their monitor placement adds behind-the-ball or ball-flight constraints to the same SIG10 frame. Conversely, a side-positioned system may avoid a behind-the-ball radar zone while still needing lateral clearance and a complete swing. No technology category by itself establishes your room's safe minimum.
